Creative Workshops for job seeking people

In our course, we explore and develop traditional techniques and styles such as drawing, colour, artistic anatomy, perspective, geometry and technical drawing, acrylic and watercolour painting, as well as professional tools for digital image synthesis.

From a traditional base to digital techniques, our course offers a wide range of content that each student can deepen according to their preferences and previous knowledge.

As a starting point, we will take the seven elements of art: colour, shape, line, figure, volume, texture and tone.

Then we also have ten common principles of art:

balance, emphasis, harmony, movement, pattern, proportion, repetition, rhythm, unity and variety.

Many of these concepts are not only related to each other, they overlap.

It is from their combination that an artistic vision or style is born

Through an understanding of Art History, we will journey through millennia and centuries of creativity and styles, of materials and forms of expression that will support student artwork.

Throughout the course, we will also study the creative development of fields such as advertising and synthetic image processing in the last half-century.

As we are a group of creatives interested in sharing our knowledge and enhancing the creativity of the students themselves, they will learn graphic techniques and how to work with them fluently. This will allow them to enhance their own personal style, and the different techniques of traditional and digital graphic representation will guide which ones they enjoy the most and will enhance their work. And during this course, the students can build a professional portfolio that opens the doors of the industry.

The digital segment of our course seeks to offer an insight into and first contact with the world of advertising, magazines and editorial projects, corporate image, web design, etc. This involves a wide variety of aspects such as packaging, branding, typography, web, brochures, etc.

Our course is created for anyone without prior knowledge or professional experience in that sector, as well as for unemployed professionals who want to update their skills and learn about new techniques, or for students seeking to expand their creative skills and apply them to their discipline.

The workshops take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting again in July 2020, in two groups, either in the morning from 10 a.m. or in the afternoon from 3 p.m.
